Start here You do not need proof to report a reasonable concern, and you should not investigate it yourself. Share what you know without delaying a report to collect every detail. Call 911 or local law enforcement now. Report to the U.S. Center online or by phone. Suspected child abuse or neglect must also go to local authorities as required by law. For emotional or physical misconduct, bullying, hazing, harassment, or prevention-policy concerns, contact CAHA and/or the Center as applicable. An email to a club or CAHA may not satisfy a legal duty to report child abuse to law enforcement or child-protection authorities. If you are unsure where a matter belongs, make the report. Common questions SafeSport applies year-round across sanctioned USA Hockey programs and events, including travel and in-house or recreational programs. Requirements differ by role. The U.S. Center’s online form permits anonymous reports. Contact information can make follow-up easier. Anyone—not only an athlete—may report. Possibly. Child-abuse reports may need to go to law enforcement or child protection and the U.S. Center. Policy may require another report to CAHA, USA Hockey, or a member program. Required adults complete Core training followed by the applicable refresher. Athletes who turn 18 may need training before participating after their birthday. Verify current USA Hockey requirements. Center reports may be anonymous, though contact information can help follow-up. Information is handled as privately as possible but may be shared when required by law, safety needs, or the applicable process.
