Girls Select Camp

CAHA Girls Select Camp provides eligible California athletes with a competitive, development-first experience and a connection to USA Hockey’s national girls development pathway.

PURPOSE

Development first. Evaluation second.

The camp is designed to challenge players through age-appropriate practices, competitive games, off-ice learning, and feedback. Players should arrive ready to compete, learn, support teammates, and demonstrate habits that translate beyond one weekend.

What players can expect

High-tempo sessions, qualified coaching, competitive play, and evaluation in a positive environment.

What evaluators consider

Skating, puck skills, hockey sense, compete level, positional habits, decision-making, coachability, and character.

What happens next

Selected players may advance within the appropriate USA Hockey district or national development process. Advancement is never guaranteed.

How to prepare

Train consistently, recover well, communicate clearly, bring complete equipment, and focus on controllable details.

Important camp information
