Registration, compliance, renewal, and support resources for every CAHA member program across California.
The CAHA Member Program Registration window is open.
Registration must be completed by the program’s President. Please review all requirements before beginning the renewal process.
SafeSport Compliance
All adults serving in a designated role with access to minor athletes must complete required SafeSport training before participating.
Background Screening
Coaches, managers, trainers, volunteers, administrators, board members, and other eligible adults must be properly screened before participation.
Annual Certification
Programs must certify adult-member eligibility and submit current leadership information to CAHA Member Services by the applicable annual deadline.
Registration applies to every CAHA member program.
Any organization using a CAHA number to roster teams and claiming membership in USA Hockey must complete annual registration.
Compliance begins before participation.
- Confirm every adult participant has completed all required screening and SafeSport training before serving in a program role.
- Maintain accurate records for coaches, managers, volunteers, trainers, board members, administrators, and others with access to minor athletes.
- Certify adult-member eligibility and submit the program’s Board of Directors and other elected or designated positions to CAHA Member Services.
- Understand that the member program is responsible for compliance and may be responsible for costs associated with third-party SafeSport investigations.
Online payment is required.
Payment must be completed through Rocky Mountain Register. Checks cannot be accepted. A new account may be created annually using the program’s CAHA Member Program number.
New hockey programs cannot request membership online.
Organizations seeking new CAHA membership must contact Member Services directly. An application and membership criteria will be provided, and each request is reviewed individually.
